Your bike is ready before you are.
THE FLEET
Musette Travel rides premium carbon bikes with electronic shifting as the default, aluminium and mechanical if you prefer: road, gravel and mountain bikes, plus e-gravel and e-MTB. The fleet comes from our own workshop and shop in Almádena, near Luz, in Portugal's western Algarve, musette.bike, where every bike is serviced between trips. Carbon wheels on request. Every bike is checked three times before it goes on tour, and set up to your measurements before you arrive.

ROAD
Carbon, electronic, light
Full-carbon frames with electronic shifting and disc brakes, geared for long coastal days and the climb to Fóia. Carbon wheels on request.
Scott Addict 10 · KTM Revelator Alto Pro

GRAVEL
Built for the Rota Vicentina
Carbon and aluminium gravel bikes on wide tubeless tyres, the surface most of this coast is made of. Tyre choice is set to the week you ride, not to a catalogue.
KTM Gravelator Elite Di2 · KTM Gravelator 10 · KTM Gravelator 25 · Scott Speedster 10

MOUNTAIN BIKE
Where the terrain earns it
Hardtails and full suspension for the singletrack behind Aljezur and Sagres. MTB days are shorter than road days. That is the trade, and it is a good one.
Kona Hei Hei Supreme · Bergamont Revox 8 · KTM Ultra Gloriette 27.5
E-BIKES
Every route, at everyone's pace
Our e-bikes are e-gravel and e-MTB. It is the quiet solution to the problem most groups have: a range of legs, one road. Nobody waits at the top, nobody rides alone at the back.
Honest note: there is no e-road bike in the fleet.
E-gravel: KTM Macina Gravelator SX 10 · E-MTB: KTM Macina Chacana 791 · E-MTB hardtail: Bergamont E-Revox Sport

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Three checks, one set-up
Every bike passes through our workshop three times before it goes on tour: once when it comes back from the last trip, once when it is built up for yours, once on the morning you ride it. Bearings, brakes, sealant, bolt torque, shifting under load.
We ask for your measurements when you book: height, inseam, and the saddle height and reach from the bike you ride at home. As far as it can be done in advance, your bike is set up before you land. The rest we correct on the first morning, before you ride.
Bring your own saddle and we fit it, at no extra cost. Pedals too, or use ours: we keep every type in the workshop.

YOUR OWN BIKE
Bring it if you'd rather
Plenty of riders prefer their own position to anyone's fitting sheet. You can bring your bike; we build it up, check it over and look after it for the week like one of ours.
The only extra is the airport transport of the bike box: €45 per bike for the round trip.
